In-Game Conduct:
Posting Format:
Morphosis is a prose game. Don't worry, you won't be graded on your ability to write great literature, and formal writing isn't required (you may break the stuffier rules of grammar and write sentence fragments as much as you please) but please try to make your writing readable to the best of your ability.
You may format communication over the voice communicator however you like, but try to make it distinct from other communication in the scene---use brackets or italics, or some other convention.
Adult Content:
This is a Power Rangers game. We'll allow slightly more edgy content than what is seen on a childrens' show (permanent character death, real blood, some swearing), but this isn't an adult game in a certain sense of the word. Include warnings in the top post or in the subject lines of comments for content that would be warned for in a PG-13 movie (drug use, nudity, discussion of excessively violent or sexual situations).
Use your best judgment when warning or choosing to lock posts.
The one hard line that we'll draw is that there is to be no sexual content posted to the main community. You may allude to adult relationships, but please take any smut threads to your character journals or museboxes.
God-moding:
You control your character, not anyone else's. Don't make posts that force another person's character into a certain course of action unless you have the player's permission. You can work out the outcome of fight scenes in advance or in OOC notes.
Infomodding:
Information you know is not necessarily information your character knows. Please don't have your hero characters magically 'sense' that a villain in disguise is up to no good---this is hard to enforce, and there are times when characters are leaving legitimate clues about their intentions that your character could pick up on, but be reasonable about it.
If your character does have a supernatural ability to pick up on information that most characters wouldn't (mind-reading, telepathy, aura sensing, and similar), don't use this ability on another character without that player's permission. It's helpful to create a permissions post in your character's journal to document the permissions you have.
Fourth-walling/canon puncturing:
Your character may come from a place where they know other characters in this game are fictional characters. For example, your character might have watched Power Rangers as a child and be familiar with some of the characters and teams. Blanket permission is granted to recognize the Power Rangers universe as fictional---all that will happen is that the discrepancy will be explained away. The universe is indeed real, it simply appeared in a modified form as fictional entertainment in your character's universe.
But if your character might recognize other players' characters in the setting as fictional, even Power Rangers characters, don't puncture without their permission. Don't have your character use their knowledge of another character's life without the player's permission either. And if the player you ask declines, respect their wishes.

Be kind to your fellow players. Treat them as you would like to be treated. This doesn't mean 'don't disagree', or 'don't speak up if you're having a problem', but remember that the person you're speaking to is another person behind the screen, someone who wants to have fun just as much as you do. Don't be a jerk.
Conflict Resolution:
If you have a problem with another player that can't be resolved peacefully between the two of you, bring what you can to moderator attention. We'll do what we can to reach a mutually agreeable solution to problems.
Removal/Banning:
If a player's conduct is detrimental to the game environment, they will be removed from the game. Breaking the courtesy rule repeatedly, deliberately, and severely will result in action being taken to protect the playerbase.
Activity/Activity Check:
Morphosis has a lenient activity check---this is meant to be a relaxed game, we just want to see that you're posting. One thread of activity will be required per month per character, no minimum comment count. Just show us that you posted a comment during the month and you're good to go.
You may take a hiatus of up to one month at a time if you know you won't be active for a period of time. Just inform us on the hiatus page.
